Background
• Somali NGO Consortium (SNC) is a coordination mechanism of NGOs working in Somalia/Somaliland.
• A platform that brings all NGOs together for purposes of sharing information and representation to governments, UN agencies, donor groups and multilateral organizations at local, national, and international levels.
• The SNC is headed by the Steering Committee, which is the highest governance structure responsible for ensuring the consortium adheres to its mandate and represents the interests of the member and is elected to office by the membership.
• The SNC has offices in Mogadishu, Kismayo, Garowe, Baidoa, Dhusamareb and Hargeisa
