  • A total of 68 new cases of AWD where reported in week 34 compared to 97 cases in week 33

  • The new AWD cases were reported from 11 districts in 3 regions of which 87% where reported from Banadir region

  • No new deaths have been reported from all the zones over the past 2 weeks

  • A cumulative total of 60,356 cases and 820 deaths have been reported in 52 districts of 16 regions of South central and Puntland since January 2017

  • The number of AWD/Cholera cases and deaths in inaccessible areas are 4 times the number of cases and deaths in areas that are accessible

  • 68 new cases

  • Zero deaths

  • 56% of the new cases were female

  • 43% of the cases are children below 5 years

  • 11 districts reported new AWD cases in the 2 zones

  • 60,356 cumulative cases (week 1-34).

  • 820 cumulative deaths (week 1-34).

  • 1.4% over all case fatality rate
