Introduction
The SQUEAC survey was conducted in the Mataban District located in the Hiran region of Somalia. Mataban District is a district in the central Hiran region of Hirshabelle State of Somalia. It's 75km away from Beledweyne, the capital city of the Hiran region. The livelihood zones embraced by households in Mataban District include; Pastoral (camel, goat/sheep, and cattle) and Agro-Pastoral.
The overall objective of the coverage assessment was to estimate the single coverage of the OTP program in Mataban District. Specifically, the assessment aimed at; estimating the single coverage for the OTP program in Mataban District, identifying barriers and boosters to the OTP program on access, and coverage, and coming up with an action plan and recommendations on the improvement of OTP program coverage as guided by the identified barriers and boosters.
