Assessment Narrative Report for Returnees in two districts in Banadir region

INTRODUCTION

In these two districts of Banadir Region which are named Shibis and Karan districts. SOPDDO team/monitors have observed the returnees and realized there are returned 22 families per day in the districts which is in encompass women, children and old people who are in different circumstance such as: homeless, lack of food, poor sanitation, lack of clean drink water and inadequate access of health service facilities in both locations

In this regards there is high influx of returnees coming in daily from neighbored regions and districts in Banadir region on results of Alshabaab removed the most of Mogadishu at the end of July 2011.

This assessment was accompanied with brief debating on observations assessment made on the two districts of Banadir that mentioned above.

The main objective of this assessment was to assess the number of returnees in two districts announced to make assessment by SOPDDO.
