Most of the important sectors were severely affected, including agriculture, fisheries, health and infrastructure, which has a mass negative impact on the livelihood of the local communities.
However, with a positive response by the National disaster management office, the National Emergency Operations Centre has activated its Provincial Emergency Operation Centres in the provinces concern, leading to the activations of their DM arrangements. Currently, PEOCs has deployed each assessment teams to the most remote communities to at least find out the impacts Tropical Cyclone Pam has left behind.
