1. Tikopia Analysis
Assessement of Tikopia progressing.
Relief operation is still continuing in the distribution of supplies
People are devided between eight groups for the distribution. Isabella is still in Tikopia
2. Anuta Analysis
Patrol Boat Auki carrying the advance party arrived in Anuta this morning
A rapid assessment found no deaths or casualties
Gardens on slopes are safe
Gardens on hilltop suffered from exposure
Only village in Anuta of 300 people are safe and fine
Water supply repaired by locals
Medicines given to the people
Coconuts, fruit trees, etc damaged
Houses are safe with minor damage
Generally Anuta is safe
17% of the 12 tons of rice is allocated for Anuta
3. Honiara Analysis
MV Hamakio Maru ETD 6pm this evening
Consignment include 150 diesel/fuel/2 kerosene drums, 24 tonnes of rice, 100 household, education materials, fishing gears, water-supply materials, local materials (sago-palm, lawyer canes) to be picked up at Lata
Other items will depend on new assessment request
Bulk of relief so far sponsored by Australia and New Zealand governments
Also NGO parter and relief agencies Red Cross, ADRA, Oxfam, World Vision) gave assistance
4. Donations
Recent donations include Republic of China on Taiwan (ROC) $74,000, Solomons Mutual Insurance $10,000, Gao/Bugotu constituency $5,000, SIG
$100,000, Australia $460,000, New Zealand $200,000.

Japan, Germany, USA, Westpac, UNDP, APSD, Seaways, etc
6. Other Islands
Other islands of Temotu Province needs assessment
Liason with Temotu Province and NDMO should be continuous.
