Information, identification and referrals of Persons with Specific Needs (PSN):

  • More than 75,700 translation services provided, mainly for authorities

  • Some 35,000 refugees, asylum seekers and migrants provided with information

  • Over 7,600 protection interviews conducted

  • Over 4,200 persons entered in the UNHCR Global proGres database

  • Over 1,500 PSN identified and referred to appropriate services, including 25 cases of gender based violence

Unaccompanied and Separated Children (UASC):

  • Some 1,300 UASC identified and referred to child welfare services

  • Over 900 children, incl. some 500 UASC, received psychological assessment and counselling

  • Over 120 Best Interest Assessments by Child Welfare Services supported


  • 11 refugees were resettled (Thanks to France, Sweden, Norway and Australia)

  • 5 more refugees have been accepted for resettlement, awaiting departure


  • Over 8,500 refugees, asylum seekers and migrants received asylum/legal counseling

  • Close to 1,000 asylum seekers assisted with registration and transported to government shelters

  • Over 270 monitoring visits to Asylum Centres

  • Regular monitoring visits to over 30 sites including border areas

  • 177 asylum seekers gave power of attorney for representation in asylum procedures

  • 81 asylum seekers represented in asylum procedures

  • 4 refugees successfully supported in securing (temporary) employment

  • 1 appeal before the Constitutional Court supported
