Highlights

  • Severe flooding continues to affect approximately 600,000 people in Serbia and 1.5 million people in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

  • WFP is initiating an IR-EMOP valued at approximately US$ 1.5 million to support the Serbia flood response in close coordination with the UN Country Team (UNCT) and national authorities.

  • In Bosnia-Herzegovina WFP is drafting an IREMOP for about US$ 1.5 million for one time life -saving food assistance reaching up to 150,000 most vulnerable people in close coordination with UNCT and the government.
