In addition to the in-kind assistance provided to Serbia and Bosnia & Herzegovina by a total of 22 Member States via the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, the EU will also release €3 million in humanitarian aid to help the most vulnerable population in the two affected countries.
The funding will help address the most immediate needs such as food aid, provision of health and sanitation, first aid and shelter of the most destitute communities.
