A delegation from Amnesty International
is meeting with officials of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)
on Monday 14 February at the alliance's headquarters in Brussels. Amnesty
International is holding these talks in order to discuss its concerns about
several attacks during NATO's air campaign against the Federal Republic
of Yugoslavia which resulted in civilian fatalities and may have violated
international humanitarian law.
Amnesty International raised concerns with NATO during Operation Allied Force and welcomes this opportunity for a direct exhange of views.
