Vladimir Yelagin, Minister of the Russian Federation, told journalists that wage and pension arrears have by now been liquidated in the Chechen Republic.
According to him, financing of the public-sector workers in Chechnya is proceeding ahead of schedule, and works to restore the points of citizens' temporary accommodation, as well as transport and communications are being successfully funded. Yelagin noted that spring field work in Chechnya has also been financed in full, with 280 million rubles being allocated for this purpose.
