During the visit, UNHCR briefed on the current refugee situation in Romania and the main results of the inter-agency programme criticality assessment that was finalised early July 2023, highlighting the impact on programming caused by funding shortages for partners of the Refugee Response Plan (RRP) 2023. During the visit, the PRM Refugee Coordinator was able to discuss with partners and refugees from Ukraine at UNHCR’s integrated service hub RomExpo in Bucharest and met with the Department for Emergency Situations (DSU).
