- Heavy rainfall, strong winds, and thunderstorms have been affecting central Romania - in particular the Muntenia region - since 9 July, causing a number of severe weather-related incidents and floods that have resulted in casualties and damage.
- Media report, as of 11 July, 14 injured people, 23 rescued people, and a number of damaged and flooded structures across the area of Sinaia town, Prahova county, Muntenia region. In addition, media also report temporary road closures and power outages throughout the affected area.
- Over the next 48 hours, light rainfall is still forecast over parts of central and northern Romania.
