IOM Poland - Needs of refugees in Małopolska collective sites | LMSI and MHPSS (August - September 2024)

Attachments

In August and September 2024, IOM Poland’s Data and Research Unit conducted a Needs Assessment Survey with refugees from Ukraine (n=313) living in collective sites across eight powiats (counties) in the Małopolskie Voivodeship (province). This snapshot examines factors influencing respondents' employment status and identifies key barriers they faced. Additionally, the report presents findings on psychological wellbeing and participation in psychosocial support activities. The insights are intended to inform labour market and social inclusion (LMSI) and mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) program planning and implementation.

Findings are disaggregated by employment status, categorizing respondents as employed (including full-time, part-time, daily workers, self-employed, and those working remotely for an employer in Ukraine), unemployed (actively seeking employment or in the recruitment process), and inactive (not seeking employment, retired, on parental leave, students, or occupied with family responsibilities).
