SitRep No.11 re Effects of Tropical Depression "Queenie"

I. SITUATION OVERVIEW:

On 26 November 2014, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) east of Hinatuan, Surigaodel Sur has developed into a Tropical Depression (TD) and was named "QUEENIE". It intensified into a Tropical Storm (TS) while over West Philippine sea. It made landfall in Surigaodel Sur on 26 November 2014 between 5:00 to 6:00 PM and exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on 28 November 2014 at 6:00 PM.

II. EFFECTS

1 . Affected Population (TAB A)

• As of 4 December 2014, a total of 13,182 families/65,239 persons were affected in 143 barangays in Regions IV-B,VI, VII, VIII, X, XI, and CARAGA, of which, 211 families/ 962 persons are still inside 7 Evacuation Centers

2 . Casualties

• A total of four (4) individuals were reported dead, two (2) injured, and eight (8) were reported missing
