I. SITUATION OVERVIEW:
• Flashflood occurred in Glan, Sarangani on May 3, 2011 at around 3:00AM due to continuous rains since Sunday, May 1, 2011 and high tide that caused the over flowing of rivers and streams that resulted flooding last Wednesday, May 4, 2011 with three (3) barangays affected, namely: Brgys Poblacion, Ilaya and Tapon
• At the height of flooding, nine (9) persons were trapped and rescued : 4 in Brgy Ilaya and 5 in Brgy Poblacion
• The situation is normal. Twenty-five (25) affected families were temporarily sheltered in the municipal gymnasium. However, they were advised to return to their respective residences.
