Typhoon Phanfone (locally named Ursula) made seven landfalls on 24-25 December 2019. Areas along its track experienced heavy to intense rains, strong winds and storm surges. The Typhoon caused widespread flooding and damaged houses, agricultural crops and vital infrastructures. Many of the regions affected were the same areas that were damaged by Typhoon Kammuri (Tisoy) from December 02-03, 2019.
