  • The Government and humanitarian partners are responding to assessed needs as they undertake further assessments to inform a revision of the current plan for humanitarian response to Typhoon Bopha.

  • Shelter remains the top priority humanitarian need, with 89% of damaged houses being in Davao and Caraga regions.

  • Tropical Depression Wukong (referred to locally as Quinta) passed to the north across the Visayas instead of the typhoon-affected regions in eastern Mindanao.

  • The Emergency Relief Coordinator has approved US$10 million support from the Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF).
