- Typhoon DOKSURI (named "Egay" in the Philippines) has made landfall twice in the northern tip of the country, in Fuga Island and Dalapuri Island of Cagayan Province at around 03:00 and 11:00 (UTC+8), respectively. On 26 July at 3.00 UTC, its centre was located over the sea approximately 50 km north of the far northern Ilocos Region, northern Philippines, with maximum sustained winds of 204 km/h and gusts of up to 240 km/h.
- Heavy rainfall already caused by the passage of DOKSURI resulted in casualties across northern and central Philippines. Heavy flooding and landslides are also reported to have affected the people. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reports 180,500 affected people across 21 provinces. Displacement and impact information is still being collected.
- On 26-27 July, DOKSURI is forecast to enter into the South China Sea and to continue moving northwestward, weakening and reaching Zhangzhou City on 28 July as a tropical storm.
- Over the next 72 hours, very heavy rainfall, strong winds and storm surges are forecast over central and northern Philippines, all of Taiwan, and Guangdong, Fujian and Zhejiang Provinces, eastern China.
