1.1 "Dante" has intensified into a storm. At 2:00 am today, Tropical Storm "DANTE" was estimated based on satellite and surface data in the vicinity off coast of Northern Catanduanes or 130 kms East of Daet, Camarines Norte (14.2=B0N 124.3=B0E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph. It is forecast to move North Northeast slowly.

1.2 Public Storm Warning Signal (PSWS) No. 2 is raised over Catanduanes while PSWS No. 1 is raised over Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, Burias Island, Southern Quezon, Polillo Island and Northern Samar.
