1.0 Overview of the Effects

1.1 Areas Affected and Total Population Affected/ Displaced (Details on Tab A)

- The total areas and population affected - 44,835 families / 246,170 persons in 400 barangays of 47 municipalities and 3 cities in 5 provinces of Region V.

- A total of 22 evacuation centers are currently accommodating 583 families or 3,123 persons affected while others are staying with their friends and relatives.

1.2 Casualties (Details on Tab B)

- The total number of casualties is 33: dead 27, missing 1 and injured 5. Of the 27 reported deaths, Sorsogon has 21, Camarines Norte 2, Camarines Sur 3 and Catanduanes 1. Causes of deaths are either due to landslide, drowning, electrocution or hypothermia.

2.0 Damages (PhP686,331,872) Details on Tab C

2.1 Agriculture, Livestock , Communal Irrigation Facilities (CIS) and Fisheries

- A total of 19,012.68 hectares of agricultural land were damaged in the following provinces of Region V with an estimated loss of of crops (rice, corn and HVCC) valued at PhP435,467,702.00. The total estimated cost of damage to agriculture including livestock, fisheries and CIS is PhP545,681,872.
