1. Situation Overview

A. Weather Update

- Tropical Depression "Feria" has slowed down as it changes its course to the west northwest direction. At 4:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression "Feria" was estimated at 105 km west southwest of Subic, Zambales or 170 km west of Metro Manila (14.4=B0N, 119.2=B0E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center; and west northwest movement at 15 kph.

- Tropical Depression is estimated to be at 320 km west southwest of Laoag City by tomorrow morning, 380 km west of Basco, Batanes by Saturday morning and 100 km west of Taiwan by Sunday morning.

- Public Storm Warning Signal (PSWS) No. 1 is hoisted over the Northern Mindoro including Lubang Island, Batangas, Cavite, Bataan, Zambales and Metro Manila.

- Residents living in the low-lying, mountainous and coastal areas under Public Storm Warning Signal No. 1 are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides. The public and disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate actions.
