There were 35 people injured and 15 reported deaths from election related violence. Generally, displacement incidents in the Bangsamoro Region are due to longstanding issues on land disputes, often entwined with political rivalry and clan feuds. Military operations against Non-State Armed Groups (NSAGs), annual flooding and weather disturbances also trigger cyclical displacements, making displacement situation complex and often protracted.
