  • Heavy rainfall has been affecting Maguindanao Province (Mindanao Island, southern Philippines) since 6 June, resulting in flooding in Datu Salibo and Sultan sa Barongis municipalities.

  • At least 45,000 people have been displaced according to the national authorities. The Disaster Response Operations Monitoring and Information Center (DROMIC) is providing emergency assistance to the affected families.

  • For the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rain with thunderstorms is forecast over Mindanao Island.
