The Philippines Flagship Initiative Dashboard, which recently featured on UN platforms such as
iSeek and UN Delegates, highlights essential pre-crisis data aimed at boosting disaster preparedness andresponse. This tool enables communities, local governments, and humanitarian organizations to better anticipate and respond to disasters.
In a disaster-prone country like the Philippines, having real-time, accurate data is vital for coordinated disaster response. The Flagship Initiative, takes a people-centered and accountable approach, ensuring disaster efforts are both measurable and impactful.
The Flagship Initiative Pilot Dashboard integrates live infographics, descriptive statistics, and mapping features to offer a clear snapshot of vulnerable barangays (villages) in Regions V, VIII, and CARAGA.
By identifying active organizations and their efforts, the platform optimizes coordination and resource allocation, making it an important tool for disaster preparedness.
