A. Region XII

1. Situation Overview

Engagements between the government forces and armed groups have resulted to the escalation of the number in the displacement of population in the municipalities of Midsayap, Aleosan, Libungan, Tulunan and Pikit, North Cotabato.


- A total of 31 barangays were affected in four (4) municipalities: Midsayap (5); Aleosan (6); Pikit ( 5); Libungan (3) and Tulunan (12)

- The number of displaced families has increased by 77% from the last report while the number of displaced persons increased to 73% from 3,723 families/21,211 persons to 16,057 families/ 77,401 persons.

- Of the 16,057 families/116,880 persons affected, 14,061 families/83,207 persons were evacuated to 31 evacuation centers.

- 1,996 families/33,673 persons are staying outside evacuation centers or with relatives.
