I. SITUATION OVERVIEW
Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan and Mindanao. Northeast Monsoon affecting Luzon.
CARAGA, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and Southern Palawan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by ITCZ. Impacts include possible flashfloods or rain-induced landslides during severe thunderstorm.
Cagayan Valley, CAR, Aurora, and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with light rains caused by Northeast Monsoon. Impacts include windy conditions in coastal and mountainous areas.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains caused by Northeast Monsoon. Meanwhile, Visayas and the rest of Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms. Impacts include possible flashflood or rain-induced landslides during severe thunderstorm.
A. Affected Population(TAB A)
A total of 119,296 families or 440,246 persons were affected in 625 barangays in Regions Il and CAR. Of which, a total of 212 families or 691 persons taking temporary shelter in 14 evacuation centers while 85 families or 321 persons are currently staying with their relatives and/or friends in Regions II and CAR.
