NDRRMC Update: Sitrep No. 4 re Effects of Diffused Tail-End of a Cold Front

I. SITUATION OVERVIEW

The diffused tail-end of a cold front brought mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in Visayas and Northern Mindanao with widespread rains in Leyte Provinces, Central Visayas and Northeastern Mindanao.

II. PRESENT WEATHER SITUATION

WIND CONVERGENCE AND NORTHEAST MONSOON

Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms with widespread rains over Eastern Visayas and Northern Mindanao which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.

III. POPULATIONS AFFECTED

The total number of population affected in 59 barangays / 14 municipalities / 3 cities in the 5 provinces of Regions VI, VIII, XI, and CARAGA is 4,246 families / 19,662 persons

Total number of population currently served inside and outside the evacuation centers are 753 families / 3,202 persons inside 21 evacuation centers
