Synopsis

Northeast Monsoon affecting extreme Northern Luzon. Easterlies affecting the rest of the country.

Forecast Weather Condition

Batanes and Babuyan group of islands will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains caused by Northeast Monsoon. No significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms. Possible floodings or landslides due to severe thunderstorms.

Forecast Wind and Coastal Water Condition

Moderate to occasionally strong speed of winds coming from Northeast direction will prevail over Northern Luzon. Coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough with wave height of 1.2-2.6 meters.

Light to moderate speed of winds coming from Northeast to East will prevail over the rest of the country. Coastal waters will be slight to moderate with wave height of 0.6-2.1 meters.

II. EFFECTS

A. Incidents Monitored (TAB A)

• A total of twenty (20) incidents (landslide, flooding and capsized boat) were reported in Regions II, CALABARZON and CAR. No significant update

B. Affected Population (TAB B)

• A total of 66,348 families or 257,643 persons were affected in 1,421 baranqays in Regions I, II, III, VIII, and CAR.

• Of which, a total of 105 families / 321 persons are being served inside 9 ECs.
