G. REGIONAL SITUATION

Region IV-B
• Port operations in Calapan City, Abra de Ilog Mamburao, Balanacan, Kawit, and Romblon resumed on 13 October 2011

Region V
• A landslide occurred along Donsol-Banuang Gurang Road in Donsol, Sorsogon – clearing operations were conducted by DPWH maintenance crew
• As of 14 October 2011, all classes at all levels in Albay resumed
• As of 6AM of 13 October, all ports in the region resumed normal operations and now cleared of stranded passengers and vehicles

Region VI
• As of 8:00 AM, 12 October 2011, seventy eight percent (78%) of the entire population of President Roxas, Capiz is underwater due to flood water estimated at 1.9 meters
deep, rendering the area impassable to light vehicles – subsided as of 13 October 2011

Region VII
• Mandaue City declared their flooded barangays under State of Calamity
• Minor landslide occurred at Tagbilaran East Road (TER), km. 211.500, Tagbilaran City, Bohol but still passable
• Two (2) houses along B. Rodriguez and Guadalupe Streets, Cebu City were partially damaged by uprooted trees brought by strong winds
• Flooding and strong winds occurred in Bantayan, Bantayan Island, Cebu totally destroying one (1) house

Region VIII
• Big waves damaged 3 houses along the shoreline of Brgy. Palengke, Caibiran, Biliran
• A landslide hit Brgy. Dampoy, Sogod, Southern Leyte, reported passable as of 12 October 2011
• Landslides along Brgys Pancho Villa, Kahupian and Olisihan, Sogod, Leyte, reported passable as of 12 October 2011
• St. Bernard, Southern Leyte experienced minor and manageable flooding; a portion of the waterworks system at Brgy. San Isidro, St. Bernard was damaged but repairs were carried out immediately by the Municipal Engineering Office
• Overflowing of water at Brgy Lambuano, Malitbog, Southern Leyte damaged a bridge
• Evacuees from Brgys Mahayag, Tabontabon and Lepanto in St. Bernard, Southern Leyte have returned to their homes

Region X
• Residents of Brgy. Bulua and Sitio Calacala, Brgy Macasandig, and Cagayan de Oro City prepared for possible evacuation as the water level in Cagayan de Oro River rose
• Flooding occurred in Zones 1, 2, 2B, and 3, Brgy Amoros, El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental, Brgy Igpot in Opol, Misamis Oriental, and in Cagayan de Oro City due to continuous rains. Five (5) houses were totally destroyed and 270 families / 109 persons were evacuated to various evacuation centers. Seventy four (74) families in Brgy Canitoan, Cagayan de Oro City evacuated to the covered court of Brgy. Canitoan

Region XII
• A flashflood swept through 2 Puroks of Brgy City Heights, General Santos City. One at Purok Johnny Ang and the other at Purok PI-16, affecting a total of 232 individuals and totally destroying 5 houses
