II. SITUATION OVERVIEW

EFFECTS:

A. INCIDENTS MONITORED (SEE PREVIOUS SITREP)

  • A total of thirty-seven (37) incidents were monitored: ten (1 0) were maritime, ten (1 0) flooding, one (1) stranded, three (3) fallen debris, one (1) hypothermia, one (1) missing, two (2) drowning, seven (7) landslide, one (1) tornado, and one (1) vehicular.

  • The increase of these incidents was brought about by the increase of maritime, flooding and landslide incidents.

B. CASUALTY (SEE PREVIOUS SITREP)

  • Five (5) of the previously reported missing persons in Region VIII namely: Abet Posto, Ariel Posto and Climente Umban Jr. were found alive.

C. AFFECTED POPULATION (TAB C)

A total of 14,667 families/70,616 persons were affected by Tropical Storm "OFEL". Out of which, 21 ,530 families/11 ,430 persons are currently staying in 63 designated evacuation centers (ECs).
