I. WEATHER UPDATE

03 November 2018

At 4:00 PM today, Easterlies affecting the eastern section of the country. CARAGA, Davao Region and Northern Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattred rainshowers and thunderstorm caused by easterlies. Possible floodings or lanslides due to severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy skies to at times cloudy with rainshowers or thunderstorm caused by localized thunderstorm. Possible floodings or lanslides due to severe thunderstorms.

II. EFFECTS

A. Incidents Monitored (TAB A)

• A total of twenty (20) incidents (landslide, flooding and capsized boat) were reported in Regions II, CALABARZON and CAR.

No significant update

B. Affected Population (TAB B)

• A total of 60,341 families or 229,788 persons were affected in 1,362 baranqays in Regions I, II, Ill, VIII, and CAR.

• Of which, a total of 135 families 466 persons are being served inside 15 ECs.

Note: Changes in figures are due to continuous assessment and validation of DSWD DROMIC.

C. Casualties

• A total of two (2) were injured and one (1) missing in regions CALABARZON and CAR.
