NDRRMC Update SitRep No. 12 re Mayon Volcano Phreatic Eruption as of 8:00 AM (21 January 2018)

EFFECTS

a. Pre-Emptive Evacuation:

a. A total of 3,904 families were pre-emptively evacuated in Region V due to Mt. Mayon Phreatic eruption.

b. Affected Population:

1. As of 6:00 PM 21 January 2018, a total of 10,444 families or 41,409 persons were affected in 39 barangays in the municipalities/cities of Camalig, Guinobatan, Ligeo City, Daraga, Tabaco City, Malilipot, Santo Domingo (Libog) and Legzpai City in the Province of Albay (Region V).

2. Of which 6,418 families/24,452 persons are currently being served inside the 27 designated evacuation centres (ECs). While 734 families/3119 persons are served outside ECs.
