Alert Level 3 is in effect as of 8:00 AM, 27 September 2014, which means that magma is at the crater and that hazardous eruption is possible within weeks. Mayon Volcano’s seismic network recorded eleven (11) volcanic earthquakes and four (4) rockfall events during the past 24-hour observation period.
