Synopsis:
At 2:00 PM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 100 km East of General Santos City (6.0'N, 126.00E). Northeast Monsoon affecting Luzon.

Forecast:
Luzon will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers. Visayas and Mindanao will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy with widespread rains over northern and eastern Visayas which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Northeast to North with slight to moderate seas.
