C. Incidents Monitored

1 . Electrocution in Region I

· On or about 7:20 PM, 19 February 2012, Mark M. Propeta, 8 years old, resident of Brgy. Paringao, Bauang, La Union was accidentally electrocuted while playing at the vacant lot that caused his untimely death
· The victim was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician of Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center (ITRMC)

Actions Taken
· The owner of the vacant lot was informed regarding the incident for whatever assistance that they may extend to the bereaved family

2 . Overflow Bridge in Cauayan, Isabela

· Alicaocao Overflow Bridge in Cauayan, Isabela rendered impassable due to flooding

Actions Taken
· RDRRMC alerted the residents living in the low lying and mountainous areas against possible flashflood and landslide, likewise, those who are living in the coastal areas were advised to be on alert against big waves

3 . Flooding and Landslide in Real, Quezon Region IV-A (CALABARZON)

· On or about 9:00 PM, 19 February 2012, flooding occurred in Barangay Capalong,
Real, Quezon due to continuous rains with almost 200 vehicles stranded due to damaged Talisay Bridge. Water level in Talisay Bridge already subsided and rehabilitation of temporary bridge is on going
· Another landslide occurred in the boundary of Brgy. Tignoan and Brgy. Tanauan with no casualties and damages reported. As a result, ITR Famy - Siniloan Road has been closed as of reporting time

Actions Taken
· The Municipal Police of Real, Quezon, 76IB Philippine Army, Municipal DRRMO and LGU conducted inspection and investigation at the landslide site
· DWWH Engineering Unit deployed heavy equipment at Tignoan-Talisay boundary to clear/remove the debris caused by landslide
