I. HIGHLIGHTS/KEY PRIORITIES

• Widespread rains over eastern and southern Mindanao have caused flooding and flashfloods in nine provinces of Mindanao, affecting 120,038 families (611,196 individuals).

• The Senate has approved the postponement of August 2011 ARMM elections to synchronize it witη the 2013 national and local elections.

• The members of the Mindanao Humanitarian Team are undertaking the Mid Year Review of the Mindanao Humanitarian Action Plan.
