QUEZON CITY, October 21 (PIA) - West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) has dispatched around 400 pieces of five-gallon containers with potable water to Tagbilaran City in Bohol, after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake jolted the province Tuesday morning.
According to Maynilad, the emergency drinking water supply was coursed through the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the Philippine Coast Guard.
Maynilad is also preparing additional water donations for mobilization.
Water supply in some parts of Bohol and Cebu were disrupted after the earthquake caused landslides and widespread infrastructure damage in said areas. (MAYNILAD/RJB/JEG/PIA-NCR)
