Situation Overview
This is the final report on the monitored Tropical Depression and was named “Urduja” (international name: Kai-tak). Which occurred on 12 December 2017 and exited Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on 19 December 2017.

Status of Affected Families / Persons
There were 435,220 families or 1,852,900 persons affected in 2,524 barangays in Regions V, VI, VII, VIII, MIMAROPA and CARAGA (see Table 1; details in Annex A).
Status of IDPs Inside Evacuation Centers
There were 94,675 families or 424,081 persons stayed in 1,911 evacuation centers in Regions MIMAROPA, V, VIII, and CARAGA (see Table 2; details in Annex B).
Status of IDPs Outside Evacuation Centers
There were 88,775 families or 384,326 persons stayed with families / friends in Regions V, VI, VII and VIII (see Table 3).
Status of Damaged Houses
There were 2,748 houses were totally damaged and 32,538 were partially damaged by the onslaught of TD Urduja in Regions V, VIII and CARAGA (see Table 5).
There were 88,775 families or 384,326 persons stayed with families / friends in Regions V, VI, VII and VIII (see Table 3).
Cost of Assistance
₱ 184,697,087.18 worth of assistance has been provided to affected families and individuals; of which, ₱155,386,921.38 came from DSWD, ₱28,378,948.80 from LGUs, and ₱931,217.00 from NGOs (Table 6).
