I. Situation Overview
On 05 December 2023, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to easterlies or localized thunderstorms that may have brought possible flash floods or landslides in Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
On the same day at around 7:00 PM, several low-lying barangays in the municipality of Gen. S. K. Pendatun, Maguindanao del Sur experienced flooding due to heavy rainfall caused by easterlies or localized thunderstorms.

Status of Affected Areas and Population
A total of 2,983 families or 14,915 persons are affected in 15 barangays in the municipality of General Salipada K. Pendatun, Maguindanao del Sur (see Annex A).
III. Cost of Humanitarian Assistance Provided
A total of ₱1,942,935.00 worth of assistance was provided by DSWD to the affected families (see Annex B).
