I. Situation Overview
On 15 October 2024 at around 9:00 AM, several municipalities in Maguindanao del Sur experienced incidents of flash flood due to continuous heavy rainfall brought by localized thunderstorms. On the same day at around 3:00 PM, a flash flood incident was also experienced in Lutayan, North Cotabato due to the same localized thunderstorms.

II. Status of Affected Areas and Population
A total of 14,786 families or 73,873 persons were affected in 28 barangays in Regions XII and BARMM (see Table 1).
