SUMMARY

On 25 November 2017, an unknown armed group attacked the community of Km. 9, Brgy. Diatagon, Lianga, Surigao del Sur causing panic among the residents. Families and individuals left their respective houses and stayed in a tribal school in Brgy. Diatagon, Liangan, Surigao del Sur.

1. Number of Affected Families / Persons

To date, 398 families or 1,862 persons have been affected in Lianga and San Agustin, Surigao del Sur (see Table 1).

2. Status of Displaced Families/Persons

At present, 367 families or 1,707 persons are staying in Tribal Filipino Program for Surigao del Sur (TRIPFSS), a tribal school in Lianga (see Table 2). While, 31 families or 155 persons are staying with their relatives in Brgy. Buhisan, San Agustin.

3. Assistance Provided

₱209,221.92 worth of assistance has been provided by the Department, and LGUs Lianga and San Agustin to the affected families (see Table 4).
