I. Situation Overview
On 18 December 2022, several areas in the country had experienced the effects of Shear Line that resulted in the displacement of families and individuals as well as damages to shelters.

II. Status of Affected Areas and Population
A total of 199,927 families or 802,071 persons were affected in 1,129 barangays in Regions V, VI, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII, Caraga, and BARMM (see Table 1).
