Issued at 11:00 AM today, Tropical Depression "Samuel" has slightly intensified as it moves westward over the West Philippine Sea.

  • All Tropical Cyclone Warning Signals have been lifted. However, fisherfolks and those with small seacrafts are still advised not to venture out over the northern and western seaboards of Luzon.

  • “SAMUEL” is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) tonight.

At 10:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression "SAMUEL" was estimated based on all available data at 240 km West Northwest of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan (10.8 °N, 116.8 °E )

I. Status of Affected Families / Persons

A total of 21,671 families or 80,497 persons were affected in 207 barangays, 26 cities/municipalities, and 7 provinces in Regions V and VIII (see Table 1).
