I. Situation Overview
Issued on 11 July 2023 at 4PM, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 575 km East of Virac, Catanduanes. The LPA has developed into a Tropical Depression (TD) named “Dodong” on 13 July 2023. On 14 July 2023, TD “Dodong” made landfall in Dinapigue, Isabela. On the same day, the tropical depression turned North Northwestward over the Cagayan Valley and maintained its strength as it moved North Northwestward over the Northwestern Cagayan area. TD “Dodong” continued to accelerates while moving Westward over the coastal waters of Laoag, Ilocos Norte. On 15 July 2023, “Dodong” intensified into a Tropical Storm and exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

II. Status of Affected Areas and Population
A total of 9,922 families or 29,935 persons are affected in 89 barangays in Regions I, III, MIMAROPA, V, VI and NCR (see Table 1)
