Situation Overview

At 10:00 PM yesterday, the center of Tropical Depression "URDUJA" was estimated based on all available data at 145 km West Northwest of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan (10.2 °N, 117.5 °E).

● Rains due to "Urduja" over Palawan is expected to gradually weaken.
● Sea travel is not advised over the seaboards of Palawan.
● Expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) later this morning or afternoon.
● Meanwhile, at 8:00 PM yesterday, the Low Pressure Area outside the PAR was estimated based on all available data at 1,435 km East of Mindanao (6.0°N, 139.1°E).

The public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned at advised to continue monitoring for updates regarding this weather disturbance.
