I. Situation Overview

Issued on 08 July 2023 at 4:00 PM, cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought by the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) / Easterlies may have caused possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered moderate to at times heavy rains to Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, and Mindanao.

On the same day, several municipalities in Maguindanao experienced flooding due to continuous heavy rains brought by the ITCZ.

II. Status of Affected Areas and Population

A total of 24,084 families or 120,420 persons are affected in 84 barangays in Maguindanao (see Table 1).
