I. Situation Overview
On 07 June 2024, the Malabon-Navotas Flood Gate was damaged which since then caused flooding in Malabon City. Although the flooding subsides minutes or hours after, the properties and livelihoods of the families living in the flooded areas are still affected. In response, the DSWD through its Field Office in the National Capital Region (NCR) provided relief assistance to support the immediate needs of the affected families.

II. Status of Affected Areas and Population
A total of 190 families or 713 persons are affected in Malabon City (see Annex A).
