I. Situation Overview

Issued on 26 June 2024 at 4:00 PM, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 325 km East of Virac, Catanduanes (13.5°N, 127.2°E). It is embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

On 26 June 2024 at around 11:30 PM, a flash flood incident was reported in Brgy. Caridad, Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat, due to continuous heavy rainfall brought by the ITCZ.

II. Status of Affected Areas and Population

A total of 441 families or 1,399 persons are affected in Brgy. Caridad, Lambayong,
Sultan Kudarat (see Table 1).
