I. Situation Overview
On 08 July 2024, heavy rainfall brought by localized thunderstorms caused significant flooding in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte. Said rainfall led to the overflow of Ligasawan Marsh, flooding its tributaries and waterways and affecting several families.

II. Status of Affected Areas and Population
A total of 4,800 families or 10,680 persons are affected in 10 barangays in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte.
